About Bruno

Bruno is the Chief Operating Officer for GE Capital UK, heading up all of our operations and IT since the start of 2011.

Bruno joined GE Capital UK from GE Money Home Lending (GEMHL), GE’s UK consumer finance business, where he most recently led the Portfolio Strategy function. In that role, he had responsibility for developing a comprehensive approach to managing a $20 billion portfolio of both up-to-date and arrears customers, with particular focus on minimising losses in the arrears book.

Prior to this role, Bruno was GEMHL’s Director of Unsecured Lending and B2C (direct-to-consumer) sales and operations. Earlier, he had been in charge of business and commercial development, looking after mergers and acquisitions as well as GEMHL's insurance product portfolio. Bruno came to GEMHL in 2004 from GE Corporate operations, where he coordinated commercial initiatives across EMEA for the president of the region.

Before joining GE, Bruno was the CEO of peoplesound.com, an innovative online music distribution company which he co-founded in 1999 and subsequently sold in 2003. Bruno began his professional career as a strategy consultant with Gemini Consulting (Cap Gemini), working on a range of engagements for financial services and technology companies.

Bruno holds an MBA from Insead in France and a BSc in Marketing and Economics from the University of Cape Town.
