About Rajesh
As Chief Financial Officer for GE Capital UK, Rajesh is responsible for leadership of our Finance Division. He has held this position since 2011.
Prior to becoming our CFO, Rajesh was from 2009 the Chief Financial Officer for GE Money Bank in the Czech Republic - one of that country’s largest financial institutions, serving retail clients as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. From 2006 to 2009, he held two additional leadership positions with GE Money: Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for the EMEA Region, and then Global Head of Business Development.
Before moving to GE Money, Rajesh held positions of increasing responsibility with GE Capital Consumer Finance. Starting in 1999 as an Acquisitions Analyst, Rajesh subsequently became Finance Manager and then Finance Director of the UK Bankcards division. Prior to this, he worked as a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst for GE Appliances in India.
Rajesh first joined GE in 1994 through our Financial Management Program. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance roles at Cadbury’s and Indian Aluminium. Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mulund College and an ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants) certification.
