About Tim

Tim joined Capital UK in April 2013 to lead our Compliance organisation, with overall responsibility for the Compliance, Regulatory & Anti-Money Laundering functions of the Bank. Key areas of focus include assessment and management of the Compliance Risk profile of the Bank and making sure we have the right calibre and number of Compliance Risk specialists. Delivering the Compliance programme ensures the Bank meets all regulatory expectations and continues to win business the right way.


The Chief Compliance Officer is a member of the UK Senior Leadership Team and sits on the Board Risk & Audit committees.


Tim has demonstrated significant achievements in leading varied structures and delivering strategic change. With a 25 year pedigree working within the financial industry and a GE career spanning 15 years, he has held roles across Compliance, Risk, Operations and Sales and global leadership positions including Chief Compliance & Regulatory Officer for GE Working Capital Solutions, VP Consumer Mortgage Risk based at GE Capital HQ and national roles in the UK as Risk Controller, Head of Credit Policy and Head of Lending Risk for the GE consumer mortgage platform.


Tim is married with two children and when not at work enjoys cooking, running, diving and cycling.
