About Gina

Gina holds the position of Legal Counsel for GE Capital UK and acts as Lead Counsel for our new UK consumer savings business: GE Capital Direct.


Since joining GE Capital in February 2011, Gina’s work has focused primarily on the development and build phase of GE Capital Direct. In addition, she has provided support to the General Counsel on a range of corporate legal matters, including strategic M&A; projects, the implementation of a formal corporate governance framework for the new UK bank, and risk analysis of the Eurozone crisis for the GE Capital UK board of directors.


Prior to GE Capital, Gina spent two years working in Dubai for Latham & Watkins LLP, where her focus was on financing and restructuring transactions - in particular advising the Government of Dubai on the restructuring of its sovereign debt. She began her legal career in 2005 with Linklaters LLP, where she trained as a finance lawyer in Linklaters’ London, Singapore and Dubai offices.
